Washington, DC – 16 April 2015 – Mr. Chris Mazzeli, President of General Dynamics Mission Systems and Mr. Scotty Miller, VP, Supply Chain Management recognized Applied Companies as one of eight companies, out of over one hundred, for excellence in support of the Army’s Warrior Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T).
During the presentation of awards, in Washington DC, Mr. Mazzeli remarked, “Applied has served the defense and aerospace industries since 1958, with a core focus on HVAC, Power Generation and Pressure Vessels. Applied provides a unique and highly specialized HVAC system for the WIN-T program, and we’re recognizing them today based on their efforts to meet and exceed program schedule needs while maintaining a high level of quality and product support.”
Receiving the award on behalf of the management and employees of Applied Companies was Mr. Jack Thousand, Sr. VP.
Upon acceptance of the award plaque Mr. Thousand remarked; “The driving force behind this award are the fine men and women at Applied Companies that design and manufacture the WIN-T HVAC System. Their pride is deep and this recognition belongs to them.”
Applied Companies, a Woman Owned Small Business, has been in business since 1958. Applied specializes in Power Generation, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning for military programs.
