Shown above (left) very little Air Flow in the Electronic Racks and almost no Air Flow near the rear operator. Low cost adjustments were made in the plenum with baffles, removal of restrictions, and increased the number of personnel vents. The second simulation iteration shows significant improvement of air flow and distribution in the racks and near the operator.
From a Thermal perspective, after the CAD design adjustments, the red box from the first iteration turned blue along with all the other thermal loads. Now we build it with confidence.
