Personnel Vent Fan

Applied Companies is the OEM of the Personnel Ventilization Fan (PVF) for Rigid Wall Shelters.
These PVFs are often combined with Gas Particulate Filtration Units (GPFU) to provide outside air when the GPFU is not operating.

in conjunction with the Gas Particulate Filtration Unit (GPFU - in Yellow) and the two ECUs (on gray rack above - but out of view).

Please note: there are currently several variations of this item, but primarily two separate functional models – one model (55710) includes a motorized damper for Chem / Bio applications. There is a spring loaded flapper which is closed until power is applied, closing off the inlet of the fan. When power is applied, a motorized damper actuator opens the flapper, allowing ambient air in. When power is secured, the damper slams back shut immediately to prevent ambient air from entering the system. Other versions of this product do not have this Chem / Bio Positive Lock-out safety feature.
